About the Course:

The Supreme Beauty and Aesthetics' Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology course is the ideal course for anyone looking to build their existing knowledge on the human body and skin and for those who want a career in Aesthetics. This course is in depth and will conclude with written course work, not a multiple choice test.

This Anatomy and Physiology course gives students the necessary knowledge to understand the way our bodies, muscles, arteries and systems work. This training provides knowledge that is crucial to an aesthetic and beauty career and will have an additional focus on the face.

Entry Requirements:​

16 years +

Satisfactory level of education

Competent English and basic Maths 

Computer skills.

• Regulatory bodies and legislation

• Health & Safety, Cross infection control 

• Presentation and self care

• Decontamination and waste management 

• Intro into the body

• Structure, function: Skin, Hair, nails

• Blood, Cells and Tissues

• Systems: Skeletal, Circulatory/cardiovascular, Endocrine, Digestive, Lymphatic, Nervous, Immune, Respiratory, Muscular

• Vessels, nerves, muscles of the face

• Skin disease and disorders

• Written coursework

Assessment:

Theory assessment will take place by written coursework that will be submitted at the end of the course for marking. This can be done online or a paper version can be sent in the post.

Duration: approx 47 hours home study - . Time dependent on student. Course applicable for distant learners. 

​

Progression route: Skin Needling. Other Beauty courses. Foundation Dermal Filler and Botox (if other qualifications also held)
